Where

Consecration ceremonies will take place at the Main Council Circle at WVU Jackson's Mill.  All Stars and any others attending should arrive no earlier than 9:00 AM.  Current All Stars participating in the ceremony should proceed to the upper pavilion by the pool.  The consecration ceremony itself will take place at Council Circle.  The initiation will be held directly after the closing Council Circle.  If any changes are necessary because of weather, these will be communicated on location that morning.

Who May Attend

The consecration ceremonies will take place after camper sign-out and before the final Council Circle.  Therefore, these will now be considered open, public events.  Anyone who is not prohibited from attending 4-H functions or visiting WVU Jackson's Mill will be welcome to attend any of the consecration ceremonies.  

Sign-In / Length of Stay

Since consecration ceremonies will now be open, public events it will no longer be necessary for visitors to sign-in upon arrival at WVU Jackson's Mill.  Visitors are welcome to stay for as long as they would like following the conclusion of the consecration.  This does not alter any other volunteer and visitor policies at state/county camps.  All standard visitor policies will remain in effect throughout the camp until camper sign-out has been concluded.  

Council Circle

All-Stars and other visitors coming to any of the consecration ceremonies will be welcome to stay for the final Council Circle at each of the camps.

Lodging

Lodging will not be available at WVU Jackson's Mill for those attending All Star consecration ceremonies, as all visitor policies will remain in effect until camper sign-out is concluded.  There are a number of other local lodging establishments in Jane Lew and Weston which are no more than a few minutes drive from WVU Jackson's Mill.
